This is a very specifically question, Ha Giang is beautiful at any season.

Summer from April till the end of October is perfect weather to go on a motorbike.

The cold season, from December till the end of March, might not be ideal and as comfortable as the summer. Winter is also the dry season in Vietnam, which makes the landscape resemble the terrain around the Mediterranean. Sometimes we will pass through fog, which makes it interesting to observe the silent and mysterious landscape.

Of course, all passengers aged 5 and older can experience our tours! We organize private tours or small groups. Our drivers have many years of experience serving the local tourism industry, so you don’t have to worry about the speed on the road.

To accommodate your personal needs or those of your family, we can stop the vehicle whenever you need.

You should pack light and smart for the Ha Giang Loop, Here are some essential items to bring:

  • Enough clothes for 3-5 days, depending on your itinerary. You may need a swimsuit, a waterproof jacket, sunglasses.
  • Cash in Vietnamese dong. There are ATMs in each town on the loop, but they may not always work or have enough money.

To ride a motorbike on the Hà Giang Loop, you need an international driving permit based on the 1968 Convention. If you drive with an invalid license, you will be fined by the Hà Giang traffic police, and your vehicle will be temporarily seized for 2 weeks. This penalty applies to both tourists and locals. However, the result can be very unfavorable: you will have to pay a high fine, you won’t be able to continue your journey, and your travel itinerary will be delayed. Even if you manage to resolve these issues, your Hà Giang Loop tour may no longer be enjoyable.
